John Murtagh

Managing Director

 

Working in the Civil Construction industry for over 30 years, Mr. Murtagh has co-founded Codmah in 1991. As a qualified engineer, Mr. Murtagh saw an opportunity in the early ’90 to provide innovative underground solutions, for electrical cabling placement. Entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Murtagh found additional growth opportunities, servicing all infrastructure services (Electrical, Telecommunications, Water / Sewage and Gas).

Mr. Murtagh’s meticulous attention to details and his ability to manage complex projects, has earned him a reputation in the industry, and helped grow the business from humble beginnings to a multimillion dollar business today.

 


Trevor Rowntree

Director, Logistics and Operations

Mr. Rowntree is a Mechanical engineer with over 30 years of hands-on experience. A co-founder of Codmah, Mr. Rowntree is charged with the logistical aspect of the business.

Mr. Rowntree runs an accomplished team of mechanics, who are responsible for the smooth operation of Codmah’s plant and equipment, including maintenance, repair and mobilisation to multiple, simultaneous work sites.


Andy Saunders

Projects Director

A civil engineer with 3 decades of experience, managing multiple, complex infrastructure projects simultaneously, Mr. Saunders is a consummate professional. During his tenure (since 1998) with Codmah, he has won multiple awards, commending his performance on both medium and large scale projects. Having spent his early days in the field, Mr. Saunders is qualified and certified in every aspect of the projects he manages.

Andy Saunders holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Southbank University, London. 


Barbara Atkinson

Head of Human Resources and Systems

 

Ms. Atkinson has been in a leadership position with Codmah since the mid ‘90s, and helped grow the organisation, using her demonstrated ability to manage the company’s Systems and Quality Certifications, WHS&E compliance as well as employee hiring, training, succession planning, incident investigation and return to work co-ordination throughout simultaneous projects.

Her qualifications and certifications include: Dip. Business Management, Assoc. Dip. Social Science, Justice of the Peace, Management Systems Auditor, Cert IV WH&S, Senior First Aid, amongst others.

 


Julie Mills

Accounts Manager

Ms Mills has been with Codmah since the late 90’s and was instrumental in moving the organisation from its first small office to our current Location at Prestons. Ms Mills heads up the Accounts Department and manages the day to day financial control of the organisation and its associated functions as well as overseeing Clients’ and Suppliers’ account management which has grown exponentially since those early years.

Her qualifications include MYOB accounting systems.
