Surry Hills, NSW

Wilkem - February 2010

Construction of 2 x 85 meter DN 180 PE orange telecommunications conduits by HDD methods at underneath a footpath along Fitzroy Street. HDD methods were also utilised for road and creek crossings.


Richmond Line Duplication Project Stage 1 – Schofields, NSW

Richmond Line Alliance (RLA) – Commenced December 2009

Project Involved the construction of new 100 meter lengths of DN100 & DN125 PVC orange electrical conduit by HDD methods within an active rail corridor between Quakers Hill and Schofields. Three additional drills were complete as follows:
- Drill #1 – 2 x DN140 PE Orange Conduit
- Drill #2 – 4 x DN125 PE Orange Conduit
- Drill #3 – 4 x DN110 PE White Com’s Conduit


Tuggeranong - Belconnen, A.C.T.

Diverse Data - May to June 2003

Construction of 1 x 100mm telecommunications conduit by open cut trenching methods at four separate work sites between Tuggeranong and Belconnen totaling approximately 19 Kilometres. HDD methods were also utilised for road and creek crossings.

 

TransACT Communications Infrastructure

TransACT - July 2002 to January 2003

Project Involved the construction of a new TansACT communications network in built up suburbs of Canberra by HDD methods. Open cut trenching was also used in open areas and numerous P5 and P6 communication pits were constructed to complete the network.

 

Fairfield Railway Station

Rail Infrastructure Corporation - June 2002

The design, supply and installation of 36 metres of 6x100mm PVC electrical conduit to connect existing electrical conduits within the station platform to an existing concrete pit in the station car park.

 

Marayong Railway Station

Rail Infrastructure Corporation - July 2001

Construction of a 350mm diameter steel casing by HDD methods to house electrical conduit that were required to be re-directed for works during the Marayong Station upgrade. A 10mx3m drill pit at a depth of 3.5m was required due to the steep nature of the existing surface levels. 40 metres of open cut trenching was also required to connect the existing poer supply.

 

Hornsby Rail Yard

Rail Infrastructure Corporation - June 2001

Design, supply and construction of 5x100mm PVC electrical conduits inserted into a 350mm diameter steel casing that was directionally drilled under multiple sets of railway tracks.

 

Freightcorp Depot Lithgow

Rail Infrastructure Corporation - May 2001

The supply and installation of 165 metres of 2x63mm PE communication conduits by HDD through sandstone rock under operational railway tracks, sidings and maintenance yard.

 

Lithgow to Bowenfels

Rail Infrastructure Corporation - November to December 2000

The supply and construction of 110mm PE under road way and rail line bu HDD to facilitate the replacement of existing signaling lines within the main Western rail corridor between Lithgow and Bowenfels.
